Huseyn Artigoglu was born in Qamarli village of Bashkechid region, the Georgian S.S.R on October 5, 1950.
In 1967 he left Azerbaijani High School #1 based in Marneuli regional center and joined the Building Faculty of the Azerbaijan Polytechnic Institute. Having graduated from the institute with the specialty of Industrial and Civil Construction he got the profession of civil engineer in 1973.
From 1971 to 1977 he was working as a technician, an engineer, a team leader, and the chief designer in Azerbaijan State Design Institute.
In 1977-1980 he took the post-graduate courses at the Moscow-based Central Research Institute for Building Structures named after V.A. Kucherenko. Since 1981 he has been a candidate of technical sciences.
From 1981 to 1984 he was working at project institutes in Baku.
In 1984 he became the senior lecturer of Azerbaijan Architecture and Construction Institute.
Joining the National Movement in 1988, he has been one of the founders of Azerbaijan People’s Front.
Since 1988 he has been a member of the Birlik Society, the chairman of the Birlik Party since January 22, 1990.
Since 1988 he has been engaging in designing and construction businesses.
Presently he is a founder of the KoopLayiha AHB Company and the National Revival Movement, as well as the author of more than 300 projects in the sphere of construction.
