Azerbaijan - Great Britain Joint Venture «AzEuroTel» was established in 1995 by the Ministry of Communication of Azerbaijan Republic and «LUKoil Europe Ltd». «AzEuroTel» is an operator of the modern digital «System X» Exchange 492/497/437, based on technology of the British company «GPT Ltd». Founders
«LUKoil Europe Ltd» and the Ministry of Communication of Azerbaijan Republic hold 50% equity each.

License
«AzEuroTel» has the license from the Ministry of Communication (№002 of 01.07.1996) allowing following types of activity:

	provision of services for local telephone network of Baku;
	provision of services for national and international telephone communication;
	provision of the trunk communication services;
	Provision of data transmission services;
