 Services provided by Techmarine Ltd. include refurbishment and repair of various vessels such as drilling rigs (Shelf and Hazar) and fixed oil platforms. The work can be carried out in ports, at plants or in-situ (during operation). The company guarantees qualitative, reliable and fast implementation of projects.

Besides, the company provides maintenance and technical services of vessels, ship power plants at ships according to the requirements of International Convention SOLAS-74. The company is staffed b highly qualified specialists experienced  in repair of complex facilities such as:

 

·        Overall repair and maintenance, fabrication and dismantling of all types of ICE (internal combustion engine) and appropriate devices;

·        Repair and maintenance of controllers such as PGA-12, PG-PL, UG-40, UG-8 and WOODWARD, as well as controllers produced in the former USSR and CMEA;

·        Repair and maintenance, fabrication and dismantling of turbo compressors installed on the ships in the Caspian (production BROWN BOVERI) and other turbo compressors;

·        Repair and maintenance, fabrication and dismantling of oily water separators and desalination systems;

·        Repair and maintenance, fabrication and dismantling of air compressor and pumps of all types;

·        Repair and maintenance of steam boilers and appropriate devices;

·        Repair and maintenance of cooling systems and conditioning;

·        Repair and maintenance of ship cranes (hydraulic and mechanic) including load testing;

·        Repair of Simplex-compact and Cedevral variable-pitch propeller;

·        Repair of ship drive shafting with flaw detection without dismantling, using the method of centering by loads (if no vessel-specific calculations are available, the company can develop them and agree them with the Russian Marine Code);

·        Repair and set up of remote control systems for ship’s engines of all types;

·        Repair and maintenance of ship power plants, MDB, DB (distribution board), RAC(remote automatic control) and other electronic systems;

·        Repair of diving equipment (compressor, winches, diving chamber, boats, life support  system, pressurized vessels etc). Major and dock repair of vessels;

·        Fuel and oil tank cleaning before repair and prior to re-loading tankers;

·        Maintenance of vessels and provision of technical consultations;

·        Fabrication of a set of spare parts (shafts, propellers of rotary pumps, slide bearing for ship machinery etc.)

·        Provision of design services

 

 

 

Techmarine Ltd. commenced its activity in 1997. The company was acting as a general contractor and subcontractor in the following projects:

 

·        Ships of Khazar shipping Co., Iran:

-         Passenger vessel Mirza Kechik Khan, preliminary preparation of the vessel, docking with appropriate activities;

-         Dry cargo ship Arin Bashir; major repair of hatch covers of MacGREGOR system after an accident; maintenance of ship machinery; general repair of the vessel;

-         Dry cargo ship Iran Gadir – preliminary preparation of the vessel for major repair of mechanic, electrical and radio equipment;

-         Dry cargo ship Iran Dalir – repair of fuel equipment, speed controllers and turbines of main engines, maintenance of complementary diesel engines.

        The projects were conducted in 1997-1999.

·        Russian vessels Admiral ltd. Oil-bulk ore carrier Kama general repair. 1999.

·        Vessel of Kaspomorneftgeofizrazvedka (Caspian sea oil and gas exploration ) Trust

-         SV Geophysic-3 rented by Thales Geosolutions Caspian BV. Techmarine LTD has an agreement Thales Geosolutions Caspian for permanent maintenance of the vessel; during the major repair the company conducted major repair of propulsion system, electric equipment; in 1997 the ship was refurbished according to the requirements of IC MARPOL and SOLAS; in 2000 accommodations and offices were refurbished and capacity of the vessels was built up;

-         SV Geophysic-2 – refurbished according to the requirements of IC MARPOL and SOLAS; capacity building in 2002;

-         SV Geophysic-1: docking , repair and setting of Delomatik and Akvamaster systems and electric filled systems, turbo compressors, cooling and air conditioning systems; fuel equipment etc. Conducted in 1998.

-         Maintenance of propulsion systems in order to extend navigation term, conducted in 1999;

-         Preparatory replacement and upgrade of 4 diesel generators 6 ВД 18/15-АЛ-1 with output power 300 kVt n=1500 rev per min made in DRG with diesel generators D2840LE301 made by MAN with output power of 414 kVt n=1500 rev per min, replacement of harbor diesel generator ДГА-50 with the capacity of 50 kVt n=1500 rev per min with diesel generator made by MAN D2866 LXE30 with output power of 120 kVt. The objective of the project was to increase the capacity of power station from 1200 kVt to 1456 kVt in accordance with the higher requirements of up-to-date geophysical equipment. General maintenance of the vessel was conducted in 2002.

·        Vessel belonging to Baker Hughes – Western Geophysical “Al Faisal-T”- dock and general repair, hull replacement 80 tons of metal were replaced early in 2001

·        Ships of CBESS (rented by Osca environmental services ltd.)

-         Techmarine LTD has an agreement with Osca environmental services ltd. for permanent maintenance of Svetlomor-2: the company conducts routine docking of the vessel, carried out repair of main and supplementary mechanisms, installed stern ship control panel and built up the capacity of the vessel;

-         Cutter with water jet propeller Arktur major repair of the propeller with rehabilitation of stern fittings

-         Diving and rescue vessel Crab repair of propulsion system – 2000

-         Diving vessel VRD maintenance of propulsion system – 2001

-         Rescue tag Otradny – maintenance of propulsion system – 2001

-         Rescue tag Otradny – general repair of the vessel and major repair of propulsion system – 2002

-         Repair of deepwater diving equipment (client Stolt Comex Seaway Ltd., France);

-         Lifting of jack-up Caspian-1 that sank at Kazakhstan shelf of the Caspian and delivery to Bautino port (the rig owned by PGS Offshore)

·        Offshore Exploration Drilling company (SOCAR)

-         Major repair of main diesel generators ОДГ5-2Д42 6ЧНЗ0/38, supplementary generators ВДГ 64 Н18/22 and emergency diesel generators АДГ 6412/14, 3Д6; repair of generator controls, cranes at rigs Hazar-2, Hazar-4, Hazar-5, Hazar-6, Shelf-1 and Shelf-3.

·        IA of Oil and Gas Production Bayil Limani

-         Major repairs of diesel ОДГ5-2Д42 6ЧНЗ0/38, Г-72 6ЧН36/45 at platforms №№  8, 13, 19

 

·        Work incorporated with Saipem - 2003-2004

-         Barge “STB-1” and lift vessel DBA “Azerbaijan” – major repair of 2 diesel-pumps type DEUTZ 12L413F varying capacity for hydraulic actuator of “STB-1”; manufacturing of foundations for anchor reels and repair of the reels; manufacture and assembly of connecting gangway ( L=25 m.); build-up of afterdeck along with installation of pedestal for emergency towing of “STB-1”; manufacture of jackhammer for pile driving; installation of rubbing bands etc. Total weight of metal – 145 tons.

 

·        Our company cooperates with State Border Guard Service of Republic of Azerbaijan since 2005

-         Vessels “PSKR-625”, “PSKR-627”, “PSKR-628”, “PSKR-626” –high-grade docking with assistant works and handling over to the customer

-         Vessel “VIXR-10” and patrol craft “S-14” – class repair by order of Embassy of USA. Besides there were many works carried out by order of Embassy of USA.

·        R/v “Bakı” (former name – “Akademik Nalivkin”), owner trust “Kaspomorneftgeofizrazvedka” of SOCAR, rented by “Caspian Geophysical”

          Refurbishment and class repair along with docking during 75 days

·        Iran r/v “Pejwak”. Specification: L=68,5 m., b=12,6 m., d=5,5 m.

Docking along with measuring of residual thickness and replacement of cover plates. Replacement of propulsion shaft with frictionless bearings and also replacement of bow and stern packing “Sedevral” type.

 

·        Passenger vessels, motor ships “Maggie” and “Bahar” – Republic of Turkmenistan

·        Research vessel  “Gilavar” – owner “Caspian Geophysical”

Specifications: L=84,9 m., B=15,6 m. (without pontoons), B=18,4 m.(with pontoons), d=5,3 m. (without pontoons), d=4,5 m. (with pontoons)

-         Docking for the ability to work on the shallow depth of the Caspian sea in Kazakhstan sector has been carried out during 30 days for the purpose of changing the draft. To build up the hull  have been installed18 sections of pontoon ( common length – 38 m., height – 8,6 m., width – 2,9 m.). Draft of the vessel was 5,3 m., reduced to 4,5 m. Repair and replacement of stern packing of propeller shaft type “Simplex Compact”. Replacement of high pressure air tube and also connection box  for geophysical equipment. After carried out works in Kazakhstan sector the vessel has been raised to dock one more time for reducing of through-pass draft (to 1,2 m.) by the way of build-up the hull with pontoons for the ability of ferrying the vessel over Volgo-Donsky channel to Black Sea basin – 2005

·        Cooperation with “Reservoir Exploration Technologies” (Norway) since 2006

Mobilization and demobilization of research vessels, back-up service of mentioned vessels. Allocating of storage rooms, practically arranging coast constructions for the company for the purpose of realization of Marine Geophysical Projects.

 

·        “Environmental Facilities Management Corporation – 2009

Design, build and completion of Floating Pump Station ( length – 58 m., hull height 2,25 m., width – 11 m., draft -  1,36 m.) with financing of Asian Bank of Reconstruction and Development in line with Agriculture Rehabilitation Project of Tajikistan. It was partially assembled in Azerbaijan, then transferred to Tajikistan where it’s fabrication has been completed during 7 months with account of transportation.

Arif Gasan oglu Gasanov, General Director, has a diploma of an engineer, graduated from Odessa High College of Marine Engineering as a mechanical engineer of 1st class on ICE (according the International Convention). He has been working as a chief mechanical engineer on the ships of the Caspian Shipping Company for 10 years, as a Manager of Technical Maintenance department of the Caspian Shipping Company for 9 years. During his work as a chief engineer in the Caspian Shipping Company Arif Gasanov was a manager of the following shipyards in Baku. IA Kaspmorsudoremont (Caspian Marine Maintenance) MPU after Paris Communa, PU ZakFederation, PU after Vano Sturua, PE after Allakhverdiyev, Navy Maintenance Base; In Astrakhan shipyard after 10th anniversary of October, In Makhachkala shipyard after Gajiyev; in Krasnovodsk port maintenance shops. He participated in repair and docking of 25-30 ships at all shipyards of the shipping company and other shipyards of the former USSR, and other shipyards in Germany, Poland, Finland, Italy, Greece, Turkey, Bulgaria, Mexico, North Korea and Singapore. He was a part of a design team that upgraded technical methods and prepared proposals for ship construction almost in all shipyards of former USSR and Europe.

 

 

 

 

 

Sohrab Mustafa oglu Allakhverdiyev, Economic Director has a diploma of an engineer, graduated from Leningrad Ship Building Institute, practiced for his degree in Baltiyski, Zdanovsky and Kirovsky shipbuilding plants in Leningrad. He worked as a designer in the Central Caspian Design and Construction Office. Sohrab Allakhverdiyev has been working as a foreman, senior foreman, QA/QC manager for 5 years; as a Manager of Planning and Maintenance Department of the Caspian Shipping Company for 5 years.

 

 

Gasan Arif oglu Gasanov, Chief Technical Manager, has a diploma of an engineer, graduated from Baku Marine and Novorossiysk State Marine Academy; he is amechnical engineer of 2nd class on ICE (according to the International Convention). He has been working as a mechanical engineer on the ships of the Caspian Shipping Company for 5 years, leading engineer of Testing Sector of the Technical Maintenance Department of the Caspian Shipping Company for 2 years.
